Gila County Board of Supervisors District 2 Supervisor Tim Humphrey is now holding his Globe/Miami/Claypool
community meetings on the air.  KQSS airs them live each month at 5:30 PM on the date listed below. All metings are on
Mondays. 

The neetings also replay on KJAA AM 1240 & FM 106.1 the following Sunday morning at 8. 
And they'll be downloadable here.

2024 includes:

January 8, 2024 - Dollar Dump Days are back, DiscoverGilaCounty.com brings money to the area, code changes help beautify
February 12, 2024 - Success in demolishing a blighted property and recouping costs involved; updates on infrastructure
March 11, 2024 - Permitting issues, proposed short term rental regulations, fee increases for commerial users at the landfill
April 8, 2024 - Fire evacuation plans to include animals, infrastructure updates, affordable housing, changes in permitting.
May 13, 2024 - The Tonto Creek Bridge grand opening is June 22nd, updates on projects, short term rentals and the dump fire
June 10, 2024 - Before buying a property in Gila County know the history: zoning, permitting, use! Updates on various projects
July 8, 2024 - More money to combat blight.  The Tonto Creek Bridge is open.  Better broadband is coming.
August 12, 2024 - Election results. Project priorities. Top 10 list of blighted properties. Red Tagging vehicles.
October 14, 2024 - Fairgrounds improvements update, the state's role in much of local blight, Gila Animal Control programs
    In this meeting, Tim Humphrey endorsed TRSD board members Robert Jacques & Mary Anne Moreno for re-election.
    Opposing candidates Jolee Stanneart & Terri Cook asked for equal time.

November 11, 2024 - After a tribute to Veterans,  progress on blight was discussed, with 2 state reps coming to Globe this month
December 9, 2024 - Updates on Russell Road projects. Landfill expansion complete. Fairgrounds electric upgrade next.

January 9, 2023 - The expansion of the Russell Gulch Landfill, state funds for transportation, updates on bridge projects.
April 10, 2023 - Too much water for a change, update on the Tonto Creek Bridge, the Golden Hill Sidewalk, and work sessions.
May 8, 2023 - Summer Youth Jobs, updates on street projects, and the state loophole that causes and prolongs blight.
June 19, 2023 - Fire danger & the serious problem of overgrowth surrounding abandoned properties, updates on projects
July 10, 2023 - Globe Mayor Al Gameros joins Tim for updates on Globe projects including the pool & bridges.
August 14, 2023 - Updates on various projects, grants, and Fairground plans.  And Tim has a new assistant!
September 11, 2023 - The County Fair is the 20th-24th, the Tonto Creek Bridgeis 50% complete, the IDA has a new director
October 9, 2023 - Robert Jacques of the TRSD provided all you'll want to know-- including a location for the wastewater plant.
November 13, 2023  Blight relief: Changing laws so that people paying property taxes are responsible for property upkeep.
December 11, 2023 Short term rental regulations; a cell tower at Jake's Corner declined; and Discover Gila County success.

Monday January 10 - Redistricting required for Gila County, Dollar Dump Days, Tonto bridge
Tuesday February 15 - The state of the Tri-City Regional Sanitary District, with TRSD board chairman Robert Jacques
Monday March 14 - Did you know there's an abandoned cemetary here, and people are still being buried in it?
Monday April 11 - Potholes! Planned chip sealing, upcoming fire and flood seasons, final redistricting comments, Tonto Bridge
Monday May 9 - Redistricting is complete. The new map is official.
Monday June 13 - Michael O'Driscoll head of Gila County Health & Emergency Mgt discusses why TRSD's sewer is necessary.
Monday July 11 - Fairground plans?  At one time they were a big draw, now they're fallow.  What to do was discussed.
Monday August 8 - Vacant lots can now get street addresses!  How addresses are determined in Gila County was discussed.
Monday September 12 -With development comes water issues affecting private wells. TRSD timetable estimates.
Monday October 10 - The Tonto Creek Bridge groundbreaking; Fairgrounds rehab; Gila County's Washington lobbyists.
Monday November 14 - All about the new Animal Control facility by the fairgrounds & updates on fairground upgrades.

physical address and deliveries are misdirected.  Also discussed was redistricting.
